A Moth

A moth drawn to the candlelight
Touched with its powdered wing the burning flame-
The consequence foreseen-in agony it died.
But as it fed the fire, the very essence of this little thing
Got to the candle's heart-and candle was extinct.

Steel'n' leaves

I'm talking of leaves, you're talking of steel,
The iron is drawn out from depths untold
-the rock's rolling's stopped by the  roots of the tree-,
But hammer and fire turned it out  smooth and cold,
For the 36 key, the green is so easy to kill.
